"Expressive Trauma Integration aims to facilitate resiliency and post traumatic growth with tools for use in therapy, training and supervision of human service practitioners and trauma survivors."

~ Odelya Gertel Kraybill, PhD-Founder of Expressive Trauma Integration

Our Third Guest for Transitions - Home From Trauma - 2016 is Dr. Odelya Gertel Kraybill, PhD.  She is the founder of Expressive Trauma Integration, Trauma Therapy & Training.  Follow this link to Dr. Kraybill's Audio Interview HERE.
Here is a description of ETI from Dr. Kraybill's website:

"Expressive Trauma Integration is an integrated therapeutic approach based on over a decade of work and research with traumatized populations in the Middle East, United States, Africa, and Asia by Dr. Odelya Gertel Kraybill, a trauma therapist and consultant. The ETI approach draws on recent research and practice from the fields of traumatology, neurobiology, expressive therapy, cognitive and behavioral approaches, resiliency and post-traumatic growth."

"ETI aims to facilitate resiliency and post traumatic growth with tools for use in therapy, training and supervision of human service practitioners and trauma survivors."

"The ETI model combines psycho-education, experiential methods and cognitive and behavioral resolutions.  These are designed to enable participants to:
  • learn what happens to people after trauma or cumulative stress, at neurobiological, emotional, physical and spiritual levels;
  • explore a framework for understanding the phases of response after trauma;
  • map out your own encounters with trauma across life, in a timeline that includes personal challenges and stress triggers;
  • create and experiment with a personal self-care and stress management plan
  • practice the use of expressive techniques to move towards trauma integration."
